After being raised by traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in theater at Tisch. Her experience and fame along with her personal experience to create and perform a show called Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position on MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after.
