Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered by many to be one of the greatest gymnasts. Biles was the first female gymnast from America ever to win four gold medals during one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to win successive World All-Around championships. Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular event.
